Today it is my great privilege to christen this new blog, "The Hounds of TASSers'ville." I and my fellow Hounds look forward to the momentous undertaking this represents. We hope that all our visitors, subscribers, and fans-to-be will join us in the great experiment that is about to unfold. Naturally, we shall improve and accommodate as we become to accustomed to this particular medium.
As the name implies, this blog is not simply the musings of the lone wolf. We, the Hounds, are a network of mongrels with a common aim. To say that we blog about education is right, but nor can the assessment be called complete. We howl at the media, but that too is only a fraction. Currently we focus on, in principle, the ruckus that happens in our own back yard. Of course, as time goes on, we may expand our focus and who knows? Perhaps in some way, what is happening across the stream may be of some value to our pursuits.
As the blog is in its infancy, we will be wanting of some clear defined terms, rules, and otherwise relation issues. We ask your patience as we work on these issues. In time we hope our efforts will bring to fruition greater understanding and communication in the present and the hereafter.
