The time has come to correct the record. We can finally put to rest all those pesky, right-wing rumors and accusations that ACORN monopolized the voter fraud industry. Well to all the bellows of Limbaughs and Becks, we stick out our tongues.

Okay, but not like that.

The Ant, in his usual form, has the link to the story. The NEA has offered a novel way of getting out the vote.

John Leidecker, of the Rhode Island branch of the NEA, has been arrested on charges that he "used false information" and masqueraded as Rep. Gablinske, who was beaten by a pro-union candidate in the primary. According to the story from WPRI, "Rep. Gablinske filed a complaint with the police prior to the Nov. 2 election alleging that someone was sending out e-mails falsely claiming to be from him."

Said Gablinske, "The NEA is really organized crime and [to] resort to these types of tactics during campaigns."

The Tea Party must surely rue its disorganization now. After all, they could only manage
open challenges and confrontations of elected officials in town halls and getting attacked by them on the street. How can they possibly compete with the public unions' willingness to trail blaze with ever-new methods of skulduggery (although there is something to be said about the full-frontal [to-the-face] method as practiced by the SEIU; it's hard to argue when you lay beaten in the street).

The NEA leadership claims no knowledge-a claim that is quite embarrassing. Leidecker as an assistant executive director, winning $115,099 working for the teacher union, is far from the standard bottom-feeder lackey. Does the NEA really have no clue as to what its executives are doing?

Of even more cause for concern is the revelation that Leidecker could not even spell Galinske properly. Surely one would assume that a high-level broker in the most-ardent force in public education that is tasked with educating our youth could manage, even if engaging in election fraud, to learn their ABC's.

So as a lesson learned, make sure you all check your email again from now on. It might be not be yours. And if happens to be porn, be careful-it might
be the work of an NEA exec.

Prayer Should Stay Out of Schools

The New Jersey Education Association (the same oufit that is trying to downsize the popularity of "The Cartel" film) finally got religion. That's right, they have gotten on their knees and held their card (or whatever they use in place of rosaries) and prayed for the death of newly elected NJ governor Chris Christie.

The NJEA has done some damage control, saying the leaked memo was a private joke.

Cristie pounced on this too with all four paws, and
mused, "They said they didn't intend it to be public. So, private prayer for my death would have been OK?"

Will the NJEA's new heavenly weapon work? Who knows? Though we cannot see how much good a divine DEFCON 1 will do against a man who's name is "Chris Christie."

Let us suppose that the NJEA gets its indulgence granted, and Christie goes the way of the NJEA's other favorites: Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, etc. Did you see Michael Jackson's funeral? To get an outing by the NJEA like his, Christie would have to have been quite an incredible person!

[Update 4/13/2010]

Chris Christie has called on for the head of the chapter responsible to resign.

California Burning Again

A state facing an even more severe budget crisis than the state of IL (largely brought upon by the same group of individuals), nevertheless, showed that those complaining about money being lost are the ones burning it.

Leading the pack of snakes are groups of Organized Crime; namely the CFT and the CTA. The Federation of Teachers paid at least 500k to air adds. Just as they did spent millions trashing the Governator for not spending enough on education (???).

Wednesday, however, the people of California voted "no" on all the propositions minus 1-F, which prevented government officials from receiving pay raises.

The TASSers in the L.A Times on the payroll of the unions and Hollywood blowhards naturally blames the mess on the California voters (some truth there, though less when one considers that several voting events have been bullied by the snakes mentioned hitherto) which Antonucci righteously scoffs at. We recommend, however, that the reader takes a look at the comments, especially to 1-B. They are quite telling and not the result of bird brains. No, these people have had quite enough, doggone it.

It's our MONEY, not our FAULT

In a brazen Letter to the editor from this week's News-Gazette, Ed Geppert, president of the Illinois Federation of Teachers, was proselytizing to the good people of the state bemoaning the extremely over-dramatic woes of the state's "public servants"-as he calls them. Anyone who has followed the actions of the IFT will find this laughable. "Teachers and public employees," he writes, "did not cause this problem." (the problem being the enormous debt that has been generated by state pension problems). Geppert in his audacious claim seems clear to forget (more likely to ignore) the role of perhaps the ultimate public employee:

It is ironic that Geppert should write this on the eve that his most esteemed receiver of patronage, that is disgraced, impeached, and indicted ex-governor Rod Blagojevich
enters his plea on accusations of (among other things) attempting to sell U.S. Senate seats. So we wondered greatly why Geppert does seem so virulently upset about no money to the teacher pensions when his own organization has donated nearly $2 million to BLAHgojevich's campaigns for the governorship? Not to mention the parent AFT's donation in addition. How about the Illinois Education Association's of over half a million dollars. (source for these contributions here)

Perhaps the IFT would do better for their teachers to cough up their own funds instead of funding criminal state officials. Teachers and public servants may not be at fault, but Geppert and his own certainly are.

See? It is about the Unions.

For several months the educationalists have been trying to ram the one-percent sales tax in Champaign County on us under the guise of improving school construction. Their original falsehood was the claimed caveat that construction and remodeling projects were to be the sole use. The Champgain News-Gazette has this article on Sunday here reports, as we have long suspected, that the principal/educationalist hack of CLASS has all but admitted that money can now be used to pay the teacher unions. Thanks for the more accurate assessment of the goals of this tax increase, Del Ryan. You have succeed in informing us about it since the previous time it was up for vote. And we are pleased to say that it has renewed our vigor to vote "No."
